
Ashraful elected eGeneration chairman
SM Ashraful Islam has been elected chairman of eGeneration Ltd at the company’s board of directors meeting held recently, said a press release.
Prior to the appointment, Ashraful had been served at eGeneration Ltd as executive vice-chairman for five years where he had been engaged in developing and implementing eGeneration’s long and short-term plans in accordance with its strategy along with facilitating business growth.
By being a vital part of eGeneration, Ashraful has been working to revolutionise the digital transformation of Bangladesh through initiating and implementing several projects in government organizations.
He has made immense contributions in the public health service delivery and public service delivery by mentoring the eGeneration technology team to develop a national Covid-19 dashboard for managing Covid-19, a hospital management information system for two large government hospitals, a learning management system, virtual court, among other things.
